About this policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "Policy") describes how you may, and may not, use the UQT website, portal and Services. It supplements our Terms of Use. By using the Site or Services you agree to this Policy.

Permitted use

You may use the Site and Services to:

  • Submit information about your business in good faith for matching to regulated providers
  • Access information published on the Site for your own business purposes
  • Communicate with UQT and, through UQT, with providers in our network
  • Operate accounts opened with regulated providers through UQT introductions, in accordance with the provider's own terms

Prohibited use

You must not use the Site or Services to:

  • Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information about your business or its beneficial owners
  • Apply for accounts on behalf of a person other than yourself or the business you are authorised to represent
  • Engage in or facilitate any activity that is unlawful, fraudulent, sanctions-breaching, terrorism-related, money-laundering-related, or that finances any prohibited activity
  • Submit information that infringes intellectual-property rights, privacy rights or other rights of any third party
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from any part of the Site or Services
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, harvesters) to access the Site or Services other than where expressly permitted
  • Distribute malware, viruses or any code designed to interfere with the Site or Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, the portal, UQT's systems or any provider's systems
  • Use the Site or Services to harass, threaten or harm any UQT staff, provider or other user
  • Bypass any access restrictions or attempt to access content you are not entitled to access

Sanctions and prohibited persons

You must not access or use the Site or Services if you, your business, or any of its beneficial owners are listed on UN, EU, UAE or other applicable sanctions lists, or are located in jurisdictions UQT does not serve.

Consequences of breach

UQT may suspend or terminate your access without notice for any breach of this Policy. We may report unlawful activity to relevant authorities and cooperate fully with regulators and law enforcement.

Reporting

If you believe someone is misusing the Site or Services, please report it to compliance@uqt.ae.

Updates

UQT may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always posted on this page.
